First Business License Application

The week culminated with a city hall visit from Rosalind Jackson, who became the city's first business license applicant. Jackson applied for a license for a home-based, residential cleaning business - JMS LLC of Georgia. Her $140 check will represent the city's first revenue. Michael Harris and Mays met with local bank representatives and will recommend BB&T Bank to the mayor and council to provide the city's banking services.
