Stonecrest Kicks-Off ‘Park Pop-Ups’

The City of Stonecrest will kick-off a four-week 'Park Pop-Ups' series starting at Fairington Park on Friday, July 8 at 12 p.m. The weekly pop-ups are designed to bring families together and reintroduce residents to premiere outdoor gathering spaces in the community.

The fun will continue at Browns Mill Park on Friday, July 15 and the Southeast Athletic Complex on Saturday, July 23. The City’s final pop-up will be held at Salem Park on Friday, July 29. All pop-ups will run from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.

Guests will meet the City’s Parks and Recreation staff and learn about community programs and services. Attendees will enjoy ice cold treats and entertainment. Pets are not allowed in the parks.

The pop-ups are free and open to the public.

The Southeast Athletic Complex pop-up event will include a Back-to-School giveaway.

Individuals interested in donating school supplies for the Southeast Athletic Complex pop-up may drop-off items at Stonecrest’s Browns Mill Recreation Center now through Thursday, July 21.
