The City of Stonecrest’s Municipal Court will join cities across the state of
Georgia to celebrate Municipal Court Clerks Week from Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 9.
Stonecrest City Council adopted a resolution to recognize the week, and the significant
contributions of Municipal Court Clerks during its May 22 meeting.
“We are thrilled to honor the effort and commitment that Municipal Court Clerks make toward
supporting the development and prosperity of cities around the state,” said Court Administrator
and Georgia Municipal Court Clerks Council member, Mallory Minor. “This year, and in years
to come, we hope to raise awareness and show our appreciation for Municipal Court Clerks.”
The Municipal Court of Stonecrest is participating with the Georgia Municipal Court Clerks
Council and the State of Georgia in this celebration.
Georgia Governor, Brain Kemp, issued a proclamation to recognize Municipal Court Clerks
Week and the positive impact Municipal Clerks have on residents and the quality of life within
the state.
“The Municipal Court Clerks Week is a great time to recognize the critical role of Municipal
Clerks and share their important contributions with others,” added Minor.
